Designed to display on the wall as an every day reference for farmers and those working in the industry, the AR interactive Sugarcane Industry Guide to Safety features vital information and up to date WHS guidelines to ensure safety education is always on hand and topical. The AR tool allows users to view additional safety resources on their smart device, using the free Pro-Vis AR app.
This year the Guide focuses on spray drift guidelines, recognising mental health and wellbeing issues in rural communities, Covid-19 guidance, risks associated with plant and machinery, farm health and safety responsibilities, and first aid response.
The Guide is distributed to CANEGROWERS Association Members, sugarcane farmers, cane growers and manufacturers, as well as education and training institutes across Australia.
